Hi guys! You probably know by now that I’m totally obsessed with skincare products, so for todays post I thought that I would share my top facial oil picks for each skin type and why you should start using one asap!
Facial oils are now one of the hottest skin care crazes despite being around for ages. Oil’s relationship with skin is tough, to say the least; some women seem to produce too much of it, while others don’t produce enough. That’s why so many of us, mostly those with oily skin, worry about our skin care products containing oil. However, oil can actually be a great thing for your skin (depending on which one you choose). Oil works to replicate what your epidermis is missing, the best oils do not sit atop your face feeling greasy and film-like. A good facial oil should sink into your skin and hydrate immediately. For starters let me address Mineral Oil, this “oil” is not your friend. Mineral Oil is a byproduct of petroleum therefore it sits on top of the skin and creates a barrier, blocking absorption and clogging your pores.
